Not Medical Advice #

I am not a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or medical professional of any kind.

Everything on this site is based on my personal experience and research. It is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice.

What This Site Is #

  • My personal journey with GLP-1 medications
  • Information I’ve gathered from my own research
  • Options I’ve explored after losing insurance coverage
  • Resources that helped me

What This Site Is NOT #

  • Medical advice
  • A substitute for professional healthcare
  • A recommendation for any specific treatment
  • Encouragement to use any medication without medical supervision

Talk to a Doctor #

Before starting, stopping, or changing any medication — including GLP-1 agonists — consult with a qualified healthcare provider.

This is especially important if you have:

  • Diabetes or blood sugar issues
  • Thyroid problems or family history of thyroid cancer
  • Kidney or liver disease
  • History of pancreatitis
  • Any other medical conditions

Compounded Medications #

The telehealth platforms I discuss prescribe compounded semaglutide from licensed US compounding pharmacies. While compounded medications are legal and regulated, they are not FDA-approved products. They contain the same active ingredient as brand-name medications but are prepared by compounding pharmacies rather than pharmaceutical manufacturers.

I share my experience, but I am not recommending you do exactly what I did. Everyone’s situation is different. Work with a licensed provider to determine what’s right for you.

Your Responsibility #

By using this site, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own health decisions
  • You will consult healthcare professionals as needed
  • You won’t hold me liable for any health outcomes
  • You understand this is personal experience, not medical advice

Emergency #

If you experience severe side effects or a medical emergency, seek immediate medical attention. Don’t rely on information from a blog.
